Mytravelpass

Mytravelpass is a Welsh Government run scheme whereby any young person aged 16 - 21 can recieve at least a third off all bus travel in Wales!

All you have to do is apply on online here and the pass will be with you in 10 working days. Once you have received your pass, just show it to the driver on your bus!

All you need to apply is a Welsh address and a suitable photograph to upload.

Newport Bus

As the name suggests, Cardiff Bus provides bus services within the city centre, its suburbs and to various destinations outside of the city.

Travelling Between Campuses

The main line from Swansea to London Paddington can be used to travel between Cardiff and Newport from Cardiff Central station.

Walking Information

Newport Train Station is approximately 20 minutes walk from the City Campus. Newport Bus Station is approximately 15 minutes walk from the City Campus.

The City Campus can be accessed on foot from the Newport City Centre within 5 – 10 minutes. Pedestrian access to the site can be made safely and conveniently via the northbound route along the A4042 Usk Way to the City Centre, and across the river via the footbridge immediately to the north of the City Campus. A pedestrian crossing facility is located immediately to the west of the City Campus site. This provides pedestrians with a safe and convenient means of crossing the A4042 Usk Way.

Car Parking

There is only disabled parking available for students on our Newport City campus. Alternative travel is available with good bus links and the Newport Train Station located just a 10 minute walk away, and Newport bus station around a 5 minute walk away.
