Mytravelpass

Mytravelpass is a Welsh Government run scheme whereby any young person aged 16 - 21 can recieve at least a third off all bus travel in Wales!

All you have to do is apply on online here and the pass will be with you in 10 working days. Once you have received your pass, just show it to the driver on your bus!

All you need to apply is a Welsh address and a suitable photograph to upload.

Bus

Bangor Bus Station is located on Garth Road (next to Marks & Spencer)

Arriva operates bus routes around Bangor and the local area.

TrawsCymru serves Bangor daily and links with services to South and West Wales, Wrexham and Barmouth.

Train

Bangor Train Station is located on Station Road.

Tickets can be bought at the Ticket Office in Bangor Train Station or on Trainline or National Rail websites.

Ticket prices tend to be much cheaper if you book them in advance of your journey but it is still possible to buy them on the day you travel.

If you are a full-time student, or under 25, or have a family and travel by train often, you may wish to purchase a Railcard. With a Railcard, you can save 1/3 off your rail fare. For more information, please visit the Rail Card website.
